Alvin Bannerjee, DPM, AACFAS

Dr. Alvin Bannerjee, DPM, AACFAS, has opened a podiatry practice in Sonoma as part of Golden Gate Foot & Ankle. The practice offers a full range of foot care services ranging from treating bunions and plantar fasciitis (heel pain) to foot and ankle fractures and diabetic foot care.

Dr. Bannerjee recently moved to California from the Washington, D.C. area, where he worked as a foot and ankle surgeon, wound care specialist, and liaison director for podiatric surgery residents from Medstar Washington Hospital Center and Georgetown University Hospital. 

He holds a medical degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Bannerjee is board qualified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is an Associate of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is on the medical staff of Sonoma Valley Hospital.
