Sujatha Pathi, MD

Dr. Sujatha Pathi has joined A Woman’s Place At Sonoma Valley Hospital, a new service line that brings together physician specialists offering comprehensive health care and preventive screening services that address the special needs of women at every stage of life.

Dr. Pathi is a board-certified and fellowship-trained specialist in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. Her area of focus includes surgical and non-surgical treatments for urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and other pelvic floor disorders.

Dr. Pathi completed her fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and completed her residency at the University of California Los Angeles. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a Member of the American Urogynecologic Society and the International Continence Society.

She has conducted extensive research into the causes of pelvic floor disorders and her research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals such as Obstetrics & Gynecology, American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the International Journal of Urogynecology.
