Dr. Sean Maroney is fellowship trained, board certified Colon and Rectal Surgeon. He has extensive training and experience with the Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, this platform allows for smaller incisions, a faster recovery time and a shorter hospital stay. Dr. Maroney also performs trans-anal minimally invasive surgery (TAMIS) for rectal tumors. If we can find a cancer early, most of the time patients will not need chemotherapy or radiation and can move on with their lives relatively quickly with minimal pain.
