Dr. Devin T. Miller is an Emergency Medicine physician with a unique background in psychological sciences, translational research, and medical innovation. He earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Iowa State University before attending The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. During medical school, Dr. Miller spent two years conducting groundbreaking research in hand and face transplantation, which ultimately led to co-founding a startup focused on skin regeneration technologies for burn victims and chronic wounds.
He went on to complete Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Wisconsin–Madison BerbeeWalsh Department of Emergency Medicine, where he developed a strong foundation in trauma and medical resuscitation.
Dr. Miller joined Napa Valley Emergency Medical Group because of its democratic model—where physicians have a meaningful voice in shaping the direction and operations of both the emergency department and the hospital as a whole.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Miller enjoys cooking, baking, snowboarding, weightlifting, and traveling.
