Male Heart Health Is Topic of Vintage House Talk

April 25, 2018

The importance for men of maintaining a healthy heart is the focus of a talk to be held at Vintage House on May 21, jointly sponsored by Sonoma Valley Hospital and Vintage House. Heart disease is the leading cause of death for men in the U.S., causing one in every four male deaths, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

In his talk, “Men’s Heart Health – Trends, Myths, Symptoms and Treatments.” cardiologist Brian Keeffe, M.D. will discuss heart disease and the risk factors that impact men. He will review the early signs of heart disease, the influence lifestyle factors have on heart health, and discuss myths, advances in treatments, and sexual health. There will be ample time for questions and answers.

The event will be held in Room 105 at Vintage House, 264 First Street East, Sonoma, on Monday, May 21, from 2:30 – 3:30 pm.  There is no cost for attendance. Light refreshments will be provided.

Please register early by email to ckrusedelarosa@sonomavalleyhospital.org, or by calling 707.996.0311.
