Sonoma Valley Hospital’s May GirlTalk To Focus On The Menopausal Transition

Sonoma Valley Hospital’s GirlTalk will host Rebecca Levy Gantt, DO, on Friday, May 6. Dr. Levy Gantt will lead a conversation on “The Menopausal Transition: Planning for the end of your reproductive life and the beginning of the rest of your life.”

Dr. Levy Gantt will explain why it is important to understand the transitions that occur in mid-life vary from woman-to-woman, ranging from an orderly and “expected” course of events to a series of physical and emotional roller-coaster rides.  She believes that with education and planning; the next 30 years of a woman’s life can be as good, if not better, than the last.
