SVH Volunteer Program

The Sonoma Valley Hospital Volunteer Program was founded in 1956 to provide non-medical services on a volunteer basis. We are goodwill ambassadors assisting hospital employees and patients. Chief among these are staffing the Information Desk that welcomes all visitors at the front door of the hospital, escorting patients to and from rooms, and making deliveries to patient rooms.

The Volunteer Program is a vital organization of volunteers who donated nearly 10,000 hours of their time last year. All of our volunteers feel rewarded with the sense of having given back in a meaningful way.
